Fill a bowl large enough to hold the wig with cool water and put one teaspoon of synthetic wig shampoo in it. Do not use warm or hot water, as it could damage your wig. Keep the wig in this bowl for a minute and see whether it has soaked the contents in the bowl. In case it hasn't, let the wig stay in the bowl for some more time. Remove the wig and keep it under flowing water in the basin and wash it thoroughly. Once washed properly, squeeze it gently and get rid of all excess water. Don't be harsh while squeezing to avoid damage. Use a towel to dry the wig completely. Place it on the wig stand till it loses all moisture and becomes totally dry.
